This is a video processing component.
Video Processing Filter is a transform filter that allows rotating the video in 90, 180, and 270 degrees. Aspect ratio could be maintained when video is to be rotated into 90 and 270 degrees or the video is flipped. RGB video stream can be converted to Grayscale or get colors inverted. This component could easily be incorporated into any Directshow base application. It will be possible to use the tool to capture real-time processing. It could be used during conversion and during playback to enhance existing media files. This component could be used to flip the video to support vertical or horizontal flip operations. This component could be integrated with applications developed in programming languages that are compatible with Directshow such as C#, VC++, Delphi, VB, etc. the licensing depends on how many developers are supported and application servers are to be included.
"Application Server" is defined as the device that hosts the Product that automatically encodes video files without user interaction. The interface that is presented in the integrated application is quite simple. This tool is meant for the software developer types. They should have no difficulty in using the component. Integration examples in source code of different languages are available. One could easily follow them to get the integration done in their own application easily. Once integrated and the application is distributed, it is not clear if royalties are involved. If you ae into development of video applications, this could be a useful component. This is a good product.
